1. Quality Vending Equipment: Always purchase NEW quality vending equipment that will give you years of user friendly, reliable, trouble free service.
2. Profitable Locations: Always accept only locations where there are sufficient employees and/or customer traffic to provide an acceptable level of revenue.
3. Popular Name Brand Products: Always provide products like, Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, Fritos Corn Chips, Gatorade, Hershey Bars, Lay’s Potato Chips, M & M’s (Peanut or Plain), Pepsi Cola, & Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, just to name a few.
4. Consistent Friendly Service: Always be pleasant to the manager and the employees at your locations, develop a rapport. Do not interfere with them conducting their business, however. Don’t be afraid to give some free products from time to time.
5. Re-Invest Profits: If you borrowed the funds to purchase your initial machine(s), pay back your loan and then set aside profits for your next machine purchase.
6. Due Diligence: Be a smart buyer of vending equipment and locations. The following are some suggestions:
A. Before purchasing machines or locations, check the company out with the Better Business Bureau, they should be an ACCREDITED member and have at least an A rating.
B. Be careful of companies that offer re-conditioned, re-furbished, or used machines, you never know what you are getting.
C. All manufacturers offer a 1 year manufacturers limited warranty on materials and workmanship on new machines, anything else is superfluous, ask our regional manager for details.
D. Buying imported machines is risky, parts may not always be immediately available when needed.
E. Buying machines that are credit and debit card ready is critically important to your future bottom line, even if you don’t activate it initially, the cashless society is the wave of the future.
